About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician with expertise in electrical systems to join our team. This role involves overseeing all preventative maintenance activities to ensure the reliable operation of equipment, minimising downtime, and upholding safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues promptly to maintain productivity.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation.
• Diagnose electrical faults using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
• Provide technical support and advice to other departments and team members.
• Ensure compliance with all electrical safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with production teams to align electrical systems with operational goals.
• Mentor and train apprentices and junior team members.

Skills & Experience:

• Certification in electrical trade; mechanical knowledge is an advantage.
• Proficiency with converting machinery, sensors, PLCs, and servo drives.
• Strong ability to diagnose and solve issues quickly.
• Excellent understanding of technical manuals and industry standards.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• High accuracy and professional presentation.
• Flexibility for ad-hoc requests and interstate travel.
